Since 2012, I’ve been designing and developing WordPress websites. Below is a sampling of my work. From complex, hand-coded, custom-themed websites to polished updates of existing digital properties, I have the acumen, experience and talents to scaffold the backend architecture of high-performing websites while serving a beautiful, functional, and accessible front-end, client-facing experience for users.
Parthenon Publishing
Parthenon Publishing was a content marketing company in Nashville, Tennessee. I was employed as one-half of the website development team and created this hand-coded, custom theme for the company.
Tile Roofing Alliance
The Tile Roofing Alliance is the home and one-stop-shop for all things focusing on tile roofing materials. I worked closely with their design and marketing agency to hand-code the bespoke website design to life over a span of multiple milestones.
Neural Payments
Leadership at Neural Payments presented a design to me and I built the first iteration of the company's website. Leveraging experience working at both banks and payment processors on a global scale, Neural Payments will connect institutions to the latest technologies and trends.
End The Syndemic Tennessee
End the Syndemic Tennessee was a movement to create an integrated plan that addresses HIV, sexually transmitted infections, substance use disorder, and viral hepatitis by the State of Tennessee. I built their website according to their presented design and spent many years maintaining their website until the program was sunset.
Stark Marketing
Stark Marketing is a content marketing company that focuses on great storytelling to drive a brand's narrative. Bobby Stark, my former employer, contacted me for the work and it was an honor to be tasked with building the first iteration of the company's website.
Doug Hoekstra
Doug Hoekstra is a multi-media artist who shines across mediums as a singer-songwriter, visual artist and author. His existing site needed a bit of polish and I redesigned his website to showcase his varied artistic talents.
Martha O’Bryan Center
The Martha O'Bryan Center empowers children, youth, and adults in poverty to transform their lives through work, education, employment and fellowship. Their web design and development was trusted to me along with years of maintenance, updating the site's plugins, themes and Wordpress core files.
What If I Told You
WhatIfIToldYou.com is devoted to education, aid, and prevention of child sexual abuse. I was honored to volunteer website development services at the 2018 Nashville Design-A-Thon for Our Kids, a Nashville nonprofit that offers help, hope and healing to child sexual assault victims.
The Runaway Spoon
The Runaway Spoon is the food-centric blog written by Memphian & foodie Perre Magness. The website had a great foundation, but needed my expertise to perform some fixes, polish, and updates.
Sheree Kelley
A steadfast keeper of Southern baking traditions, and CEO of the Belle Meade Plantation Winery, Sheree Kelley uses her website for sharing her passion for entertaining. A past version of her website needed my talents to rework functionality, update images and copy, and improve performance.
Nashvillest
Founded in 2008 by Christy Frink and Morgan Levy, Nashvillest is an independently-owned and operated blog about Nashville, Tennessee. I was tasked with their web development when the brand underwent a refresh in 2017.
HSGLaW
I handled both web design and development for HSGLaW's website, along with choosing their brand colors of blue and gold. HSGLaW strives to guide clients through life’s most difficult times. They are a partnership of smart, trustworthy, and caring lawyers who are committed to providing the best possible legal services to their clients.
Rumble Seat Music
Rumble Seat Music specializes in premium, American-made vintage guitars and amplifiers. With over thirty years of experience in the business, they are one of the most trusted names in vintage guitars. I redesigned the website along with the underlyling data architecture to automate the flow of new products offered for sale.
Roseland Broadcasting
Established in 2017 to buy and develop low-power TV stations in small to medium-sized markets, Roseland Broadcasting leases digital, multicast broadcast channels to clients, including religious, shopping, and political channels. I built its custom-themed website, which includes a map of station locations, status of "on air","coming soon", or "sold" along with details regarding station capabilities and signal.
