The government’s role in public health work is important, but it’s not always sexy. We were tasked with building a website for the State of Tennessee to educate the public about preventable ailments and addictions.
Tennessee already has a robust web presence in Tennessee.gov. So why create a separate site? The hope is to break away from that government ecosystem and place preventative information on the topics of HIV/AIDS, STDs and addictions in the foreground.
End The Syndemic Tennessee is “a movement to create an integrated plan that addresses HIV, sexually transmitted infections, substance-use disorder, and viral hepatitis.” With knowledge comes power, and the aim of this website is to give power to the people.
